From tropical showers to thunderbolts and lightning, even the bewildering varieties of tropical fish have been presented in the most innovative manner to showcase the rainforest experience.
Apart from the futuristic rainforest experience, there is also the sedate 1950's American style dining experience wherein you can relish at Ed's Diner. The ambience, music and décor all portray the quintessential America of the 50's.
But the London Trocadero is not only an exhibition site that draws art connoisseurs. It is a perfect hang-out destination for the young at heart. It is home to the Pepsi Max Drop Ride - a multi-million pound freefall amusement ride. Once strapped to the seat, you are slowly made to climb to the roof and after a few seconds, drop experiencing the exhilarating sensations of a freefall. The London Trocadero also housed the Pepsi sponsored IMAX cinema which was the first 3D IMAX cinema in the United Kingdom.
In 2005 the Trocadero was acquired by new owners. These new owners of this historic London landmark have drawn up plans to undertake a comprehensive revival of the site and renew this popular tourist attraction.
